On our beautiful estate, you can stay at different types of bungalows and chalets in a green environment. They are fully and stylishly furnished and have every convenience you could wish for. You will have a fully equipped kitchen, a patio with outdoor furniture and a parking spot for one car at your disposal. Our holiday homes are detached and suitable for a maximum of 12 persons. Some of our accommodations have an infrared cabin or a sauna for ultimate relaxation. Here, you can relax after an active day during the Pentecost days. Things to do in and around our resort

You will not be bored for a moment during Pentecost at Landgoed Het Grote Zand. We offer an wide range of cool facilities. For instance, we have an indoor swimming pool with a separate paddling pool, challenging playgrounds, a cool jungle forest and a sauna with steam bath where you can relax. We also have a soccer and a volleyball field for sports enthusiasts. There is also plenty to do in the area if you want to go on a day trip. You will find a few tips below:

 
    Cycling and hiking

    The area around Landgoed het Grote Zand is a wonderful area for walking or cycling. Explore the beautiful heaths, vast forests and, of course, the megalithic tombs of peaceful Drenthe.

    Attractions

    You can enjoy many fun day trips in the vicinity of our holiday park. Theme park Plopsa Indoor Coevorden is a 45-minute drive away and the adventurous Wildlands Zoo in Emmen is half an hour away.

    Beautiful cities

    Vibrant cities near our holiday park include Assen (at 13 km), Emmen (at 34 km) and Groningen (at 42 km). Here, you can enjoy a day of shopping and then have something to eat and drink on a patio. Please note: not all shops are open during Pentecost.
