There are 60 kilometers of hiking trails and 30 kilometers of cycling routes. Fun fact: there are two flocks of sheep with shepherds who keep the heathland in good condition. Be sure to visit a sheepfold and watch the flock return at dusk. For your stay, you can rent a cottage near Dwingelderveld National Park.
