Our restaurant is located on Landgoed Het Grote Zand and is part of Succesparken, a cozy family business with 8 vacation parks in the Netherlands and Germany. We offer a range of accommodations including camping pitches, wellness chalets, family houses, and luxury villas for national and international guests.

Succesparken stands for hospitality in a friendly atmosphere. We are currently looking for several enthusiastic employees for the kitchen for our vacation park Landgoed Het Grote Zand in Hooghalen (Drenthe).

Are you interested in learning new things about cooking?
Like learning to master holding a knife and cutting the perfect cucumber?
Are you willing to get to work, while your friends celebrate birthdays or vacations?
Can you handle multiple miles in a hot kitchen?

During the work day you will be busy with:

- preparing lunch and dinner side dishes - preparing mise en place

- clearing orders

- slipping dishes through the automatic dishwasher, and make them shine!

- cleaning up all the dishes

- after dinner, cleaning up and scrubbing the kitchen together with the cooks

- making sure your dish corner is always tidy.  Suppose the king drops by one day? Then it must be presentable, right? ;)

- Washing the kitchen linen, don't worry we have a washing machine for this!

What are we looking for in a new colleague?

Some experience in the kitchen is nice, but not a requirement. Do you know what mise en place stands for? No idea? No problem, we are only too happy to teach you the ropes!

You are mainly available during vacation periods and holidays, but we are also looking for colleagues for weekdays and weekends.

We prefer a colleague who flies through our company with a positive attitude and energetic personality ;)

Careful and presentable appearance is important to us. Workwear is provided.

What is Restaurant Het Grote Zand?

You will be working in a small restaurant at the vacation park. The restaurant is located in the main building next to the reception. The main building also has a swimming pool and a kids club. The snack bar is a part of the restaurant, and orders can be placed either at the bar or over the phone. The restaurant is open from 10 a.m. or 11 a.m. We serve lunch from noon to 3 p.m.m and dinner starts from 5 p.m. Guests are also welcome for a cup of coffee and cake or a refreshing drink on the terrace.

The terrace has 9 patio tables and a number of lounge sets. Inside the cozy traditional cafe, there are 40 seats that can be covered by air conditioning (yay!).

Your colleagues are of all ages, and there is an informal work atmosphere.
