Our restaurant is located on Landgoed Het Grote Zand and is part of Succesparken, a cozy family business with 8 vacation parks in the Netherlands and Germany. We offer rental accommodations ranging from camping pitches and modern wellness chalets to large family houses and luxury villas for national and international guests.

Succesparken stands for hospitality in a friendly atmosphere. We are currently looking for several enthusiastic employees for service for our vacation park Landgoed Het Grote Zand in Hooghalen (Drenthe).

Would you like to get a good tan while parading across the terrace?
Are you willing to get to work while your friends celebrate their birthdays or vacations?
Can you handle multiple miles from the bar to our guests and back again?

Throughout the workday, you will be occupied with various tasks and responsibilities:

- welcoming guests and having a nice chat with them

- taking, preparing and serving orders

- taking and settling snack bar orders

- checkout with guests

- making sure our patio and restaurant look neat and tidy

- inform and advise on our food and beverage menu. Which drink is your favorite?

- upsell and cross-sell our products

What are we looking for in a new colleague?

Some experience in service is nice, but certainly not a requirement. Did you know what upselling and cross-selling is? No idea? No problem, we are only too happy to teach you the ropes!

You are mainly available during vacation periods and holidays, but we are also looking for colleagues for weekdays and weekends.

We, and our guests, prefer a colleague who flies through our company with a smooth chat and energetic personality ;)

A careful and presentable appearance is important to us.

What is Restaurant Het Grote Zand?

You will be working in a small restaurant at the vacation park. The restaurant is located in the main building next to the reception. The main building also has a swimming pool and a kids club. The snack bar is a part of the restaurant, and orders can be placed either at the bar or over the phone. The restaurant is open from 10 a.m. or 11 a.m. We serve lunch from noon to 3 p.m., and dinner starts from 5 p.m. Guests are also welcome for a cup of coffee and cake or a refreshing drink on the terrace.

The terrace has 9 patio tables and a number of lounge sets. Inside the cozy traditional cafe, there are 40 seats that can be covered by air conditioning (yay!).

Your colleagues are of all ages, and there is an informal work atmosphere.
